Upon arriving in Agra, the first stop on our tour will be Itmad ud Daulah Tomb (also known as Baby Taj), a stunning Mughal mausoleum. 10:00 AM Visit the Taj Mahal Complex
The Taj Mahal is a stunning example of Mughal architecture. Its white marble exterior showcases intricate miniature paintings, especially on the central dome. 2:00 PM Drive to Fatehpur Sikri
After enjoying a delicious lunch, we will continue our journey to Fatehpur Sikri (40 kilometers) from Agra. This impressive abandoned city was constructed by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and served as the capital of Mughal India for 15 years before being deserted due to lack of water supply. Our knowledgeable guide will take you on a tour of all the highlights including Jama Masjid, the towering Victory Gate (Buland Darwaza), and the elegant white marble tomb of Shikh Salim Chrishti. You'll also get to explore various palaces and pavilions that showcase a blend of Hindu, Islamic, and Persian architectural styles.
5:00 PM Return to Delhi
After an unforgettable tour of Agra, we will return to Delhi via the Yamuna Expressway. Upon arrival, you will be transferred back to your hotel with cherished memories of your time in Agra.
